Intro
MODODIKΤYO SA is the retail sales network of MOTODYNAMIKI SA since 2002. It is active in the field of sales of all products Yamaha. This includes motorcycles, marine products, spare parts, lubricants and accessories, as well as a wide range of complementary products and rider equipment. Additionally, it provides service and repair services to its customers. MOTODYNAMIKI SA is the official, exclusive distributor of YAMAHA MOTOR Co. Ltd., in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria, and PORSCHE AG and SIXT, in Greece. Its activities also include MOTODIKTYO, with three vertical Yamaha units and an online store thus offering a complete sales and service experience.
Challenge
Motorcycle owners’ prime concern is to ensure that their precious belonging will not be stolen. Sound alarms can only audibly alert the owner. A GPS tracking device gives the important ability to retrieve a stolen item. Of similar importance is that the device motorcycle owners choose to install will be effective, and problem free. Up until recently tracking devices used to drain the battery if the motorcycle stayed parked for more than 2 days in a row. That is why motorcycle owners were up to now very reluctant to proceed with the installation of such a device. Fortunately, this is not the case anymore, with Skytrack GPS tracking devices being able to bypass this issue in a clever way.

Our highly skilled engineers managed to configure the device in such a way that when motorcycle’s engine is turned off, the device will switch to a standby mode with minimum impact to the motorcycles batter. That mode we named Ultra Sleep Mode keeps the tracking device fully capable of transmitting all necessary signals to the owner, thus providing motorcycle theft protection. Motodiktyo proudly approved this approach and made Skytrack a certified provider for telematic services to their clients.
